Soft roads. . V Streams on the nse. One vacant school in the township. Alter Bro’s are moving their mill. Dow Brasket is building a new house. Thos. Swain has returned from Carroll County. Billy Myres is fitting up a dwelling for his new bride, Gus. Munden will teash the Sandridge school in Barkley this winter. We understand that the R. R. station will be placed at Johnson’s mills. There will be no more grinding done at Alter’s mills this season.

We understand that the depot at this place will be moved a few rods east of its present location. The building of a new depot would suit our people as well as else. *
