Weather cool. Hay making over. , j Dr. Antrim is fixing his house for cold weather. H. M. Tyler is attending the normal school at Brushwood. , George B.‘Antrim’s school commenced Sept. 26. He is teaching in W alker. W. C. Tyler is going to teach the home school. The young people of Pleasant Valley and surroundings meet at the Pleasant Valley schoool house to organize their Literary Society. Elder Shortridge will address the people upon education,both modern and ancient,at the Pleasant Valley school honse Oct. 8. Mr. Shortridge is an able speaker, so let us all turn out and hear this subject discussed. Asa Tyler is building a new kitchen to his house. Old Mother Gossip says that one of the fairest daughters of Keener is about to step into the yoke of matrimony. W T hile we feel sorry to lose her from the circle of young folks, we congratulate her upon the fact that she is soon to occupy that new house that is being built at Rose Lawn.
