All Around.
We have had the pleasure of a trip around our county and find everything lovely exoept the drouth. Grope are already injured all over the county, and especially in the north part. But there is no loss without gain. The amount of hay being put up is simply immense. We had the pleasure (?) of a visit to Rose Lawn, Newton county, last week, and if we get forgiveneaa for that visit well not go back soon. The Kankakee river is quite low and still lowering. - The parties getting up ditches under the old law, last season, are pushing them through rapidly and perhaps there never was a more favorable time. Mr. Wils. Porter’s house is being rapidly completed. It will be an ornament to the country.
