Daring the Normal a man’s fancy—and a lady’s, too—• easily turn to thoughts of love. Hymen wields his powerful scepter and God joins together what man dare not put asunder. At 7 P. M., July 20th, Miss Anna McCoy and Mr- Jay Lamson were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. The ceremony was performed at the residence of the officiating minister, the Bev. AW. Wood. Mrs. Lambon has been on board the educational craft for eight years and retires from the service as a teacher of high repute. We cherish ho ill will on account of this desertion, but on the contrary are glad that she has drifted bo smoothly into port. The heartfelt wish of numerous friends of both bride and groom is that they may live long and “brosper.” If you fail to keep cool at home, just try the Normal Refrigerator. The ball has been sent rolling, and if you don’t care a spark for a good license, you surely know the advantage of making a good match. The enrollment at present is about forty. All the doors are tlirown open to admit the ever-in-creasing numbers. By next week we expect the Refrig, will be filled to over-flowing. Our literary society is in full blast. It is doing good, earnest work, and is a source of pleasure as well as profit. * I ffcar some of us prefer shabby methods lo a shabby wardrobe, but our wardrobes are bound to correspond' with our methods when the resolution presented by A.
