New York, July 18.—A meeting of the stockholders of the Louisville, New Albany & Chicago railroad was field this afternoon for the purpose of voting upon the proposed consolidation with the Chicago and Indianajiolis Airline railroad. Those interested refused to make known the result of the meeting, but it was learned from another source that the consolidation was effected.—[Special to Indianapolis Journal.
