A "Masher” Come up With.

A dandy In Carson wrote a letter to a respectable young lady asking her to meet him on the railroad track at a late hour of last Friday night. She Informed her male relatives, and at their request sent an acceptance of the youth’s invitation. At the appointed hoar the latter appeared at tne place of meeting. He found a graceful creature robed in female attire. Ho clasped it to bis bosom/ and pressed a burning kiss upon its- cheek. At this juncture a ringing bovjsh laugh issued from the lips of the muffled figure,and a party of avengers sprang upon the daDdy. He attempted resistance, but ineffectually. His clothing was removed, and he was whitewashed from head to foot, mien a bucketful of lime and water was poured over him and he was released.
