Rensselaer Republican, Volume 13, Number 40, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 23 June 1881 — Are You Going West? [ARTICLE]
Are You Going West?
That most po ular and comfortable railway, the Chicago, Rock Island A Pacific, has just issued a very complete map of the United States, corrected to date, and giving all the new places upon the roads in Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico, and also upon the Southern Pacific line to San Francisco. It has also published a new and tasty paper called The Western Trail, which gives information of great value to all interested in the growth of our Western Territories. Mr. E. St. John, the wide-awake General Ticket and Passenger Agent at Chicago, will mail these publications, post free, to all who drop him a postal card or other conkmunication. The man or woman going west of Chicago whether to Kansas or Alaska, should by all means take this road, it being now the acknowledged favorite, as it Is the model railway. We cannot do better, in closing, than to say send him your name.
