An affray occurred last week between Ed and Bill Johnson on'one side and Dave Little on the 4ther. The result was a battered face for Dave and a fine and costs for the others, settled before Justice McColly. • L The “whole load of school teachers” mentioned in a previous issue as going out into Keener township, have been counted. The names all told are, Geo. Antrim and Sadie McDonald. The teachers of the township were all present at the institute last Saturday week. The Superintendent was present, and every thing passed of lively and interesting. , • 6 . / . • .We thought our chances J were good for losing some of our timber dealers but recent jury trails cause us to feel a deep disappointment Most everybody in this township has been summoned to appear before the grand jury.
