Gw ill ism writes from Bayswater, Eng., on September 28, as follows: “While observing Jupiter with a 0%-inch mirror, last night, I saw two bright spots close together on the south side of the equatorial zone. The southern of these wm extremely brilliant, compared even with the brightest part of the Jovian disk. These spots followed the great ‘red streak* by about an hour, reaching the center about midnight Their size was about equal to the third satellite.”
