—On the occasion of a visit to Fowler last week we improved the opportunity of looking into tiie town schools, just opened last week with A. DSnively, principal and four lady ussht* auls. Nine months service as teacher iu the Grammar department of these schools makes them a place of special interests tp us. Wo found teachers and scholars alive to the importance of, the hour and earnestly endeavoring to make the most of the opportunities afforded. Rensselaer is here represented iu the person of Miss Lydia Dwig* gins teacher, in the Grammar depart, ment, of the little Hock of which,we were proud to be teacher, a year a. Passing from one room to another, we were pleased to see the prosperous appearance of each department and the system that was apparent every where. It will always afford us pleasure to peep into the Fowler schools. —Charley Starr, having taken - to himself a wife, wished to extend the domain of his household aud notified Hardman that he would need the room occupied by him.
