A Fall Cup.
When the saintly Payton was dying he exclaimed, “i long to hand a full cup ot happiness to every human being.” This was the language of a heart thoroughly purged of ail selfish affection, and oiled with the spirit of thatkve which led our sdorable Jesus to give His life for human redemption. It every Christian would go out daily among men. filled with such longing for human happiness, what marvelans changes would soon *0 wrough in human society!. He would heocwae an incarnation of good will toward all, and would so preach the gospel by hi* deeds that man would see bia good works and glorify his He&venly Father.
