A MONON WRECK.
A Number Injured In a Wreck at Cyclone. The Monon south bound passenger train No. 35 was in a wreck at Cyclone, six miles south of Frankfort, at 2:30 o’olock Tuesday morning. The last sleeper on the train was turned over and another sleeper and a day coach was damaged, while the passengers were shaken up and ten of them had scalp wounds and bruises, but all were able to continue on their way. The wreck was caused by the south bound train not being able to get entirely on the siding to allow the north bound No. 36 to pass, because a long freight was on the siding. A heavy fog prevailed and the signal could not be seen. The engine struck the sleeper “Alabama’’ and turned it over on its side. One of the trucks ot the sleeper “Nicosia” was knocked from under the car. The north bound engine was damaged. The engineman, Tom Kline, and Fireman F. D. McCord jumped. Kline was hurt about the chest and McCord had his ankle sprained. .
