NOTICE OF HEARING OF DITCH PETITION. IN THE MATTER OF THE PETITION OF WILLIAM W. BURNS ET AL. ’ » Notice is hereby given that a petition has been filed with the Auditor of Jasper County, State of Indiana, and viewers have been appointed, who have viewed and reported said view, which report is on file in my office, and at a hearing of said cause heretofore had, said ditch has been ordered established; and later, a supplemental petition in said cause has been filed, asking to have further and other action taken therein by the viewers in said cause and further report herein made by said viewers, which said further action has been taken and report therein filed in the Auditor’s office of said County; the hearing of said further petition and report will be had on Thursday, the Ninth Day of April, 1903, the same being the fourth day of their ApriT Term 1903. The prayer of said petition is that a ditch be located as follows: Beginning five hundred and forty-five (545) feet south and tefl (10) feet west of the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section three (3), township twenty-nine (29) north, range six (6) west, running thence in a general northerly direction to its outlet in the Gifford Main Ditch two hundred and ten (ato) feet south and six hundred (600) feet west of the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of section twenty-one (21), township thirty (30) north, range six (6) west This proposed work will aflect the lands of the following persons: Samuel P. Hopkins, William W. Bums, Samuel English, Samuel R. Nichols, Elizabeth Michaels, Frederick Waymire, Lewis Lebold, James Lewis, Charles A. Arnold, Elias Arnold, George W. Ott, August C. March 16, 1903. March 19-26. NOTICE OF DITCH LETTING. Notice is hereby given, that at my office on Friday, April 3rd, 1903, at one o’clock p. m. I will open bids, received prior thereto, for the construction of a ditch, partly tile and partly open, known as the McCoy ditch No. 765: Beginning twenty-two rods east of the northwest coiner of the northwest quarter of section fifteen (15), township twenty-eight (28) north, range seven (7) west, in said county, running thence in a southeasterly direction to its outlet in Carpenter’s creek, sixty-five (65) rods south of the center of said section fifteen (15), township twenty-eight (28) north, range seven (7)- west. Said work to be done according tq specific cations on file in said Auditor’s office, E&ch bid must be accompanied by a bond in the amount of the bid. By order of the Board of Commissioners. Wm. C. APPLICATION FOR LICENSE. Notice is hereby given to the citizens of the First ward of the City of Rensselaer and Marion Township, in Jasper County, Indiana, that the undersigned, Conrad Kellner, a male inhabitant of the State of Indiana, and over the age of twenty-one years and who has been and is of good moral character, not in the habit of becoming intoxicated, and a fit person in every respect to be intrusted with the sale of intoxicating liquprs and who is and has been for more than ninety days last past a continuous resident of said city and township, and who is the actual owner and proprietor of the business for which a license is asked, will apply to the Board of Commissioners of said Jasper County, Indiana, at their April term, 1903, said term ooipmencing on Mon-* day, April 6, 1903, for a license for a period of one year to sell and barter spirituout, vinous and malt liquors, and all other intoxicating liquors in less quantity than a quart, and a less quantity than five gallons at a time, with the privilege of allowing and permitting the' same to be drank on the premises wheresold, which said premises are described'as folloWs, to-wit: . .
