WALTER MAINES MISSING.
Left Home at Night While In 111 Health. Walter Maines, who has been in ill health for some time, disappeared from home Monday night and bo far his parents or friends have been un* able to find any trace of him. Tuesday morning a note was found on his bed saying, “l will be back to* morrow.” He had gotten up in the night and saddled his horse, on which he had ridden away. He wore his every day olothing and had hot little money with him. He had been in poor health for some time and it is thought that his illness so worked on his mind as to cause temporary aberration, whloh caused him to take the step he did. The K. of P. lodge, of which be is itmember, telephoned to all towns within a radius of fifty miles, asking the authorities to keep a look out for the young man, and also to points in the country where he was likely to pass, bat without result. The young man is twenty-six years of age and the son of Geo. H. Maines, of Rensselaer. His parents are very much distressed over his disappear* a nee and the search will be kept up nntil he is found.
