As Bad as Foot Ball.

Rensselaer has had its ardor dampened considerably so far as basket ball is concerned. Miss Shields, a member of the team ran against the wall of the gymnasium with such force as to break her arm above the wrist. The mishap to Miss Shields will have a tendency to break np the game at that place. Basket ball for girls, is as bad as foot ball for men, it seems.— Hammond News. H. M. Prevo and Miss Mae Smith, of Gillam township, were married in Rensselaer last Thursday afternoon Clarence D. Royse at the M. E. parsonage/ The bride is the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Smith, the former a well known farmer and stock dealer. The groom is the son of ex-trustee A. W. Prevo, and is a most estimable young man. Mr. and Mrs. Prevo will make their home on a farm in Gillam township. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Yeoman arrived home irons Florida Monday.
