Baker's Antl-Chlcken Ordinance Passed to Second Reading. The city oounoil met in regular session Monday evening. H. B. Kurrie had a olalm on file for $l5O for attorney’s fees In the Nowels vs. City damage case, whioh was tried at Delphi, The bill was allowed, SIOO to be paid at the present time and the balanoe when he effects a settlement with Attorney Ryan, of Delphi, who assisted in the case. Ryan agreed with Kurrie to assist fors6o, bat had filed a bill againsc the city for SIOO. Bill Baker’s anti-ohiokeu ordinance was Introduced and passed to second reading. It provides for a fine of from $1 to $lO for allowing ohiokens, duoks or other fowls to run at large within the corporation. The treasurer’s report for the month ending February 28th shows balanoes on hand as follows: Road fhnd, $574.58; corporation, $524.63; water fhnd, 509.75; light, $116.73. The treasurer reported that the sohool board had turned over $450 for the benefit of the latter fhnds. The committee on publio property were instructed to give notice that the old buildings on Milroy park were for sale. The following bills were allowed: CORPORATION FUND. F. M. Abbott, salary 45 oo B.
