Spring is here for certain. There is no snow to be seen on the ground and the frost is all out in places. Moving and getting ready to build is the general occupation. Mrs. James Davis, who was sick for several years, died last Wednseday and was buried in Mt. Tabor cemetery, east of Blackford, last Friday. Presiding Elder Cooper and Rev. Byrd held quarterly meeting at Gifford last Saturday and Sunday. G. B. Switzer and wife and Master Emmer and Rev. Byrde, visited Uncle John Switzer last Thursday. ■ Ezra Switzer and Willis Hurley were at Dew Drop on Saturday. \ Otto Ritter was the guest of Roy Scott on Sunday. Bowman Switzer has bought a new buggy.
