The Weather for March.
Hicks says the first regular storm period for March is from the 2nd to the 7th during which time rains may be expected, followed by colder weather and heavy snow squalls along the northern side of the country. Electrical disturbances can be looked for from the 10th to the 15th. Another regular storm period extending from the 13th to the 20th will bring a time of exceedingly unsettled weather with a probability of some dangerous storms. Many equinoctial squalls, with mach unpleasant weather, may be looked for about the 21st to 22nd. The last general storm period is from the 25th ‘to 30th. It will turn very warm during this period, to be followed by late snow and sleet storms in the north. He predicts that the month will close in the midst of a cold wave at the end of these storms.
