Some days ago the doctor became violent and took reftige in his dwelling, where he lived alone and would let no one approach. Monday Drs. His brothers, Dr. Jay Jonee and Harry Jones, of Medaryville, were sent for, and upon their arrival they were admitted by their insane brother. He was induced to lay down on his bed and while his brothers engaged him in talk, the officers entered the house and after a struggle in which the insane man tried to use his revolver, he was subdued and brought to Rensselaer and placed in jail. Dr. Jones is a bachelor, forty years of age, has red hair, is 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighs 200 pounds. He labors under a number of delusions and is restless, cannot sleep and is silent and melancholly. The cause of his loss of mind is unknown.
