In Squire Yeoman’s Court.
John Knight was fined a dollar and costs, $8.15 in all, by Squire Yeoman Monday, for beating a $2 board bill at Lister’s hotel, near the depot. Clarence Hamilton run up a bill of $6 at the same place and was fined, the same amount for attempting to beat it. The costs and fine amounted to $11.60. W. J. Mennick, for being on a plain drunk, was fined and costed to the amount of $9.65 yesterday.
