Walker Appointed.

John W. Walker, the Jasper-Newton circuit court stenographer, went to Indianapolis Monday to accept the position of committee stenographer in the legislature for the balance of the session. His appointment lets out W. H. Robertson, of the Wheatfield Telephone, who for the past thirty days has been acting as confmittee clerk. A substitute will take Mr. Walker’s place here during the present term of court.
