Fashion Hints for Spring.
Novelty suihngs show a variety of styles; the Scotch mixture, havingbourettes of lustrous angora mohair are among the smartest. - Mohair will be an extremely pop** lar material for spring. In wash fabrics there is a wide assortment,.and the summer shirt-waist or entire costume will be more attractive than ever before. Simple designs continue general favorites. The shirt-waist costume has attained a prominent place among the fashionable modes, the amount of variation possible in construction adding materially to its popularity. The blouse jacket continues to enjoy favor, and many of the smartest modes are of this shaping.. Skirts fit smoothly about the hips and flare at the bottom, though sossa pleasant modes show shirrings aafl tucks at the hips. A fancy of the season is the gown of' pale-gray, with pure-white lace ssfl chiffon combined. An attractive decoration for th* sleeves of the new tailor gowns la achieved by slashing them at th* back andllacing them across with site cord on small buttons.
