PARR PRATTLE.
The little baby which was being reared by Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Elder died Monday morning at 5 o’clock. It was buried at Rensselaer yesterday. Taylor Wood comes down to the barber shop and gets shaved. He says the baby pulls his beard. John W. Price will soon have his new house completed. Mr. and Mrs. Hammond, of Morocco, are visiting their daughter, Mrs. Jess Sheffer. If you want Christmas toys go to Judy & Wood’s. They have a fine line of all kinds of toys. Mrs. D. E. Hudson, who has been sick for some time, is improving nicely and is able to be up some at this writing. Mr. and Mrs. Jnoi. Shroyer and Mr. and MrSj Frank Shroyer, of Blackford, visited Ed Price and wife Sunday. W. L. Wood made a flying trip to Goodland and Wolcott Monday. I guess Jess thought he would change his job so the girls would not bother him so much. Girls you ought to be ashamed of yoursglves. Mrs. John Parker and son Earl, of Gifford, visited her daughter, Mrs. Taylor Wood, Sunday. Jas. K. Garriott, who has been visiting in Jackson county, returned Tuesday. Wm. Gilmore and Earnest Stibbe drove some cattle over to Goodland for J. L. Babcock Monday. Earnest of course was pretty well tied up when he got back. I guess Gilmore’s coflee must have been pretty strong. Go to Judy & Wood if you want blacksmithing done, as they have a first class smith. Ocie Wood, Ed Moon and sister, Miss Wordon, of Rensselaer, went out to take a buggy ride Sunday and got mired down. Girls you must stay on good roads next time.
