GIVES LAND TO METHODISTS

Property for Church for Free Hospital at Mattoon Is a Gift. Springfield, 111., special: At the session of the Illinois conference of the M. E. church Rev. Dr. Whitlock, presiding elder of the Mattoon district, introduced resolutions accepting from Mr. and Mrs. David M. McFall and Mrs. Mary E. Morris of Mattoon a gift of lands and properties in and near Mattoon, which are deeded to the conference on the condition that there be established in or near Mattoon a free public hospital to be under the control of the conference.
