Items ol Interest Retarding the Rensselaer Public Schools

The high school foot-ball team does not feel discouraged over Saturday’s game. The g boys put up a pluoky fight and we have no fault to find with their work. Montioello treated us very kindly and we have nothing but good words for the management of the game. The Monticello mascot, a crow, just before the game, circled over the Monticello team and then perched on the goal post. We do not intend to have any evil omen of that sort turn the game against us the twenty-fifth. Miss Harris spent Sunday with her father at Hammond. After visiting schools at Lafayette Mr. Headlee visited friends at Blooming Saturday. The following is the literary program for next Friday, Oct, 17th.
