COMIISSIONERS’ COURT.
Considerable Ditch and Other Business Transacted. The contract for a bridge in Keener township was awarded to the Pan American Bridge Co. at $546, and for one in Jordan township to the Attica Bridge Co. at $468. The contract for the removal of a bridge in Gillam township was awarded to the Winamac bridge company at $172. In the matter of the Sonth Barkley township gravel road, the petitioners file motion to refer the report of the viewers and committee back for snch amendments as they may deem proper. Said reports, after revision by the viewers and committee, to be refiled on or before November 1, 1902. George W. Warren et al, petition for ditch. Final report approved and cause dropped from the docket. John W. Hutchinson, etal, petition for ditch. Petitioners file motion to set aside reviewers’ report and appoint other reviewers. Motion sustained and board appoint S. T. Comer, Charles Harrington and L. Strong reviewers. Sopjiia Chilcote et al, petition for ditch. Final report approved and cause dropped from docket. W. W. Burns, et al, petition for ditch. George Parkison, Nathan Eldridge and Frank Lakin appointed reviewers. Balthazer Brown, et al, petition for ditch. Report approved and cause dropped from docket. Sidney B. Holmes et al, petition for ditch. Ordered established as far as reviewers report. Fred J. Saltwell et al, petition for ditch. Dropped from docket. David Miller et al, petition for highway. Report approved and road ordered established. T. F. Maloney declined to serve farther as a viewer in the Iroqnois ditch and Albert Foster, of Lowell, was appointed in his place. In the matter of deepening the Union Lakin ditch, the cause was continued for notice. O. D. Lakin et al, petition for ditch. Report approved and ditch ordered established. In the matter of the cut off of Carpenter's Creek, the contract was awarded to Gant & Bnllis at $660, Carpenter township to pay $76 of above and settle any claims for damage that may be made. O. O. Randle et al, petition for gravel road in Hanging Grove township. Auditor directed to give Dotice of election for November 4, to determine the question of building the road. Charles Otis ec al, petition for ditch. Dismissed on motion of petitioners. Elias Arnold, trnatee, petition for abutment to Moore’s bridge. .Directed to proceed with the repair, the county to pay cost of work in excess of $75, but not in excess of amount appropri ated by oonnty council. The report to the grand jury in regard to heating the jail was approved and plans for heating the jail ordered. The voting place for the west precinct of Carpenter township was changed to the south room of the Henry Mullen property. Robert Parker et al, petition for ditch. J. M. Wasson, R. B. Harris and James T. Randle appointed viewers. The surveyor was directed to prepare specifications for cleaning out the Marble lateral of the Wheatfleld ditch. Joseph Nissius et al, petition for ditch. David Gleason, I. W. Warner and Michael Delahanty appointed reviewers to meet with the White county viewers. Moses Sigo et al, petition for ditch. Jacob May, James Olowery and Reuben Crain appointed viewers. The Burt Terry Stationery Co. was awarded the contract for election supplies at SBO.
