VIOLATED BICYCLE ORDINANCE.
Boys Fined for Riding on Side Walks. The first person to be fined for violating the bicycle sidewalk ordinance was Jamie Willis. Last Thursday Jamie was way out on Elm street, far from the usual haunts of the officers, and proceeded to use the cement walk for a bicycle path. He was reported to the officers and his arrest followed. He made his appearance Thursday and on a plea of guilty Squire Troxell fined him a dollar and costs, or $3 in all. Jamie will use the streets hereafter. Harvey Moon was the second victim. He made his appearance before Sqire Troxell Saturday and was assessed the same amount as the Willis boy. Harry will also confine himself to the streets from now on.
