Another Divorce Case.

A divorce case has just been filed in the circuit court that will be a matter of considerable surprise to our readers. It is that of Mrs. Mildred O. Powell, of Rensselaer, against her husband, John W. Powell, a former sheriff of Jasper county, but now holding a good position in the government printing office at Washington. Mrs. Powell alleges abandonment and cruel treatment and asks for|a divorce and alimony of $45 per month. They were married April 4, 1865, and lived together until December 15,1901. • - - ' " .
