DIES FROM HIS INJURIES.

Daniel Michaels Hurt While Threshing and His Death Follows. Daniel Michaels, of Milroy township, but for many years a resident of Jordan township, died Tuesday from injuries received the day before while threshing. He was pitching bundles from a wagon to a threshing machine at W. T. Walters' farm, when the pitchfork caught in the belt, and the handle struck him with considerable force in the middle of the body, knocking him off the load to the ground. The injured man arose to his feet and walked nearly to the engine,. when he staggered and fell and was unable to rise. He was taken to Mr. Walters’ house and a physician summoned. The body showed but slight injuries, but he suffered intense internal pains, which death relieved Tuesday about noon. His age was about 42 years. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn their loss.
