Notice of Hearing of Ditch Petition, No. 408. IN THE MATTER OF THE PETITION OF C. D. LAKIN ET AL. Notice: is hereby given that a petition has been filed with the Auditor of Jasper County, btate of Indiana, and viewers have been appointed who have viewed and reported said view which is «on file in my office. The hearing of said petition upon its merits will be had before the Board of Commissioners of Jasper County, State of Indiana, on Tuesday, the 7th aay of October. the same being the second day of th eh..Octo The Prayer of said Petition is that a ditch be constructed on the following route, to-wit: “ Beginning two hundred and twenty-five (225) feet west of the southeast corner of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section twenty seven (27), township thirty (30) north, range seven (7) west, and running thence in a general northeasterly direction to its outlet in the Swaim Ditch two hundred and ten (210) feet south and seventy-seven (77) feet west of the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section twenty-three (23), township thirty (30), range seven (7) west. Also a lateral wo. 1, commencing nine (9) rods west of the southeast quarter of the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter ‘wenty-seven (27), township thirty (30) north, range seven (7) west, and running thence in a general southeasterly direction three hundred and thirty-two (332) feet to its outlet in main ditch at Slation No. 11* 54 feet! A lso later al No. 2, commencing thirty-two (32) rods west of the southeast comer of the northeast quarter of section twenty-seven (27) township (30) north, range seven (7) west and running thence in a general northerly direction eleven hundred and seventy-seven ( 1J 77) feet to its outlet in main ditch at Station 2i£44 feet. This proposed work will affect the lands of the following persons: Richard Butler, George W. Warren, Elizabeth A. Carlin, Henry Amsler, George J. Haste, Charles D Lakin, David S.
