A new G. A. R. post has been organized at Hammond. The September term of the Jasper circuit court wlil be in session next week. Mr. and Mrs. O. Finney returned to their home in Elwood Monday, after a visit with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Yeoman and their daughter, Mrs. M. L. Spitler, of Oklahoma, spent Sunday at St. Joe, Mich.
