Willie \\ hitacre is spending this week with his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs Scott. E. C. Switzer and wife spent last Saturday night and Sunday with her parents at Dew Drop, Ind. Frank Peters is going to visit the fruit region in northern Michigan and look for cheap land with the intention of purchasing a farm there. He will be gone a week. Mr. Maggie Snow, wife of Commodore Snow, is dangerously sick. Dr. Johnson is waiting on her. Mr. Zorbett is dangerously ill. Clarence Hurley’s babe is better, with a slight prospect of getting well. Rev. Byrd starts to Conference this week and when he returns they will know who will be the minister on the work for another year. The threshing machines are busy cleaning out the little jobs of grain in this vicinity.
