Alarm of Fire.

The unearthly screeching of the fire whistle aroused our tired citizens from their slumbers Tuesday night. The electric wires leading to the cigar lighter in Haus’ restaurant ignited » small cushion laying on the show case. The door was kicked in and the small blaze extinguished, but not until the fire alarm had been given. The only damage done was a slight crack is the glass of the show case.
