POISON ENDS A ROBBER’S LIFE

Aged Mans Failure to Secure Valuables Leads to Suicide. New York dispatch: An unknown man was found dead on the stoop of a private house at 50 West Twentyninth street.' He had killed himself by drinking poison. It developed that the man had during the day robbed the office of Edward Mayhew. He failed to secure any valuables, and his failure is believed to have prompted him to end his life.
