TWEED RECEIVER PASSES AWAY
Man Who Saved 93 Per Cent for Bank Depositors Dies Suddenly. Balston, N. Y., dispatch: Frank Thompson, a millionaire and retired lawyer, died very suddenly at his home here, aged 59.' He was appointed receiver of the Abington Square Bank in New York, which was wrecked by the,Tweed ring. He successfully conducted the bank and paid 93 per cent of the deposits. Thompson’s estate is estimated at a million and a half.
