LOSES BIG WAD.
J. M. Dickey of Rose Lawn, Loses $2,000 and Then Finds It. J. M. Dickey, of Rose Lawn, lias been choking with large gobs of gratitude and emotion all day today. Yesterday morning, while passing through Hammond on the 9:30 Monon, Mr. Dickey bad the experience of seeing how it feels to lose two thousand dollars in bills, for that Is just exactly what happened to him. He did not disoover bis loss for some time—but he got the shook later in the day. In the meantime Conductor Johnson, ot the Monon, found the bundle of money and experienced a faintness abone the heart when he saw the size of the roll. Being an honest man he reported the strike at headquarters, however, and Mr. Dickey and his big roll came together this morning.' It was a joyful meeting, especially on Mr. Dickey’s part.—Hammond News.
