The Monon Not Yet Transferred.

The Monon has not yet been transferred to the Louisville & Nashville and Southern railway. Technically, change of control has already been effected, but legally the transfer will not occur, it is authoritatively stated, until the latter part of August or the early part of September. Iu connection with the transfer of the Monon property comes the report that W. H. McDoel, president of the road, will retire and be succeeded by one of the high officers of the Louisville & Nashville. Men who are well informed on affairs of the Monon say there is no truth in the report. They say Mr. McDoel will remain at the head of the company, and, though the ownership is changed, the polioy and management will remain as it is now.
