KOKOMO HAS ITS FILL.

No More Carnivals Will Be Held There This Generation. A dispatch from Kokomo says: The Pythian carnival closed Saturday night after a solid week of revelryThe order cleared at least |1,500, which will be used in paying the expenses of the uniform rank to California in August, where it will compete for the national championship ia competitive drills. Many of the show* lost money and some are stranded, unable to get out of town. There was a horde of pickpockets in town, eighteen of whom are In jail as a result of the vigilant efforts of the police. Kokomo has had a satiety of carnivals. All business houses complain of poor trade and even the saloons ami eating houses are disappointedEverybody is glad it is over. This is Kokomo’s first experience with carnivals and it will be the last in this generation.
