Mr. Scott s son-in-law, of Hanging Grove, visited his parents here last Sunday. Charley Peters went out buggy riding last Sunday, but got to “Swaiming” before he got home G. B. Switzer and family went to Indianapolis last Sunday on the excursion train and visited his wife’s brother, fohn Abbott. Mrs Gertie Robinson and son Harve and Miss Eva M. Clark, of Rensselaer, visited their aunt, Mrs E. L. Switzer, last Thursday. Amzie Laßue was in this vicinity last Monday on a business trip. The farmers here are eating new potatoes of their own raising and have plenty of vegetables of every kind. James Comer, of Oklahoma, is visiting relatives and friends here. He formerly lived east of here, owning a farm near Independence school house. Mrs. Hattie Alter, of Rosebud, and Mrs Eliza Norman, of near Parr, spent last Tuesday with their friend, Mrs. E. L. Switzer, north of Blackford.
