The Annual Commencement.

The twentieth annual commencement of the Rensselaer high school took place at the opera house last Thursday evening. The house, as usual upon such occasions, was orowdedThis year’s class consisted of eighteen members—ten boys and eight girls— Ross Dean, George Hemphill, Joseph Moosmiller, Vern Kaub, Rufus B> Knox, Glen Wlshard, Trevor Eger* Arthur Tuteur, Ray C. Yeoman, Roo E. Yeoman, Alice Bates, Orabelle Duvall, Bessie A, Eger, Isabelle J. Lucre* Mable Huston, Jean McFarland, Nina Martindale and Edna Wildberg. The work of the class as shown in the commencement exercises waß meritorious to themselves and gratifyingr to their friends. All acquitted them* selves with great credit to themselves and to their instructors. Rensselaer may well be proud of the work done» in her high school so long as it turns out such classes as this one. The Journal congratulates our young graduates on the successful complettion of their course and predicts » bright and successful future for each' of them. May more of our young people be encouraged by their success to take advantage of the educational opportunities we have at home.
