An Automatic Bouncer.
A novel invention used in the north of England is a sort of automatic “bouncer” for use in public houses. Punctually at closing time the legend, “Time, please, gentlemen!” appears on a glass face, and then an electric gong starts ringing with such amazing power that it becomes quite impossible for even the most enthusiastic toper to occupy the bar for another instant.
