Trustees Want Salary of $3 a Day.

The township trustees of the Ninth Congressional district met at Frank fort last week to discuss business connected with their office. Among other things they passed resolutions favoring the consolidation of township schools so far as practicable, also favoring a salary of‘|3perday for a trustee, and declaring that the law should be changed so as to enable a trustee to succeed himself. They also favored paying land owners fz.so per day for eight hours work, and advocated the repeal of the law allowing teachers pay for attending institutes. The law providing for the appointment of road supervisors should be changed so as to provide for the election of these officials, and all dog tax collected should belong to the township collecting the same.
