The Republican State Convention.

The Republican State Convention is now being held at Indianapolis. The convention was called to order by Chairman Goodrich at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon. It was formally opened with prayer by Rev. Worth M. Tippy, of the Broadway M. E. church, Indianapolis. The convention will 1 eassemble this morning at 9 o’clock to receive the report of the committee on resolutions and nominate candidates for the state offices in the following order: Secretary of state. Auditor of state. Treasurer of state. Attorney general. Clerk of the supreme court. Superintendent of public instruction. State geologist. State statistician.
