Commissioners’ Court.
The county officers reported fees collected for the quarter as follews. Auditor, $112.60; recorder, $858.10; sheriff, $lB5 67; clerk $471.17. The resignation of S, A. Dowell as commissioner from the 2nd district was accepted. Fred Waymire, commissioner from the 3rd district, having moved to the 2nd district, tendered his resignation, and was appointed by the auditor and the remaining commissioner to represent the 2nd district. Mr. Waymire’s successor will not be appointed until next month. George J. Nichols et al, petition for highway. Road ordered established. August Goepp et al, petition for highway. Road ordered established. Wm B. Blankenbaker etal, petition for highway. Remonstrance filed and cause continued. Henry Wagner et al, petition for highway. David D. Gleason, Daniel E. Fairchild and Michael F. Schwanke appointed viewers. Wm. Nuss et al, petition for highway, Barkley township. James 0. Thrawls, M. H. Hemphill and Benj Harris appointed viewers.
