Frank Archer’s baby is on the sick list. Dr. Dunfee and Barney Newland were at North Judson on business a couple of days last week. The dredge began work again on Thursday after being laid up for about three weeks on account of too much ice. , Wm. Hickman, of DeMottee, will move to Newland this week and work 011 the boat. Nearly everybody is working their onion ground this soft weather and soon we will hear the click of the onion drill all over the plantation. Wm. Collins and Ben Klouse were at Rensselaer Friday on business. Mrs. T. M, Callahan and Miss Ella Callahan were at Rensselaer Thursday. Louis Shell and wife, of. McCoysburg, were visiting here Saturday and Sunday. Quite a number of young folks from here attended church at Gifford Sunday afternoon.
