Miss Ida Ahlers, of Kentland, is visiting her cousin, Mrs. T. M. Callahan, this week. Earl Newland and H.’ E Gifford were at Rensselaer Saturday on business. Mrs. L. B. Hewitt was a visitor at the Hub Saturday. Miss Mabie Caster is visiting Bruce Castor and family west of Gifford, this week. Fred Germain is hanging paper for W. R. Bums at Lewiston this week. Miss Nora Baker took dinner at T. M. Callahan’s Sunday. J. A. Walbum has moved here from Raub and will open a blacksmith shop about the first of March. Grube and Nevell finished shelling and shredding corn here and at Lewiston Saturday and loaded their machines and took them to Kersey the same day. ’ Wm. Collins and wife were at the Hub Saturday. H. E. Giftord was at Laura on business Saturday.
Tom Dunfee and wife are visiting friends at North Judson for a few days. Mrs. R. W. Burris is visiting her daughters at Cullum this week.
