The City Council.

At the meeting of the city council Monday evening the city employes at the city plant were granted an increase in wages. The superintendent hereafter will receive $75 per month and the other employes SSO. J. W. Horton et al petitioned for an arc lamp at the intersection of Weston and Cornelia streets. Referred to light committee. Fred Parcells was accepted as a memberofthe fire company. A contract was made with the Standard Oil Co. for supplies at the following prices: Capital oil, 30 cents per gallon; Renown engine oil, 18c per gallon; white waste, 5.Jc per pound.
