Jim Williams is moving in one of Churchill’s houses. Dan Lakin’s has moved on Mrs. Henkle’s farm. Mrs. Ed Smith has returned from her visit in Michigan. She says her father and mother think it is a nice place to live. Minnie Cooper moved his new house last week and is living in it. It just snows enough every day to keep the sleighing in good order. Joe Davis’ family and George Masters and wife visited here last Sunday. Steve Williams has moved back to the fruit farm and is going to work for Mr. Renider this summer. Charley Shroyer is moving to Rensselaer and his brother-in-law, Mr. George, will live on his farm E. L Switzer visited the oil region in Gillafh township, Monday. B G. Switzer spent one day last week with his parents and helped get wood for them. E. C. Switzer and his sister were in the city last Thursday on business. George Lowman was in this vicinity last week hunting a girl to work for them. Rev. Byrd is conducting a protracted meeting at Aix, with good results. James Swaim and Bowman Switzer were at Uncle J. S. Switzers, last Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Theodore Hurley, near Aix, is quite sick and he has to do the work and care for her himself as they cannot find a girl to work for them. All the girls old enough to do anything here are married or going to school.
