Political Pointers.

The Journal Is authorized to state that there will be a candidate for county treasurer from Marion townehip, but is not at liberty yet to make his name public. His official announcement will appear as soon as the county call is Issued. George Worley, county superintendent of Koscuisku county and a member of the state board of education, is a candidate for the Republican nomination for state superintendent of public instruction. Other candidates are R. C. Hillis, of Logansport; F. A. Cotton, of Henry county; Edwin 8. Monroe, of Mt. Vernon, and Titus Kinzie, of South Bend.
