MARISIGAN SURRENDERS.

H* and 100 of Mat Tar's Supporter* Quit Fighting. Manila dispatch: Colonel Marislgan and a renegade priest, who were General Malvar’s principal supporters in •Batangas province, have surrendered to General Bell. The latter has granted an armistice of five days to allow Colonel Marisigan to concentrate 160 men with rifles for the purpose of surrendering. The authorities consider Colonel Marisigan’s surrender as an important step toward pacification. He rose from the ranks and has strong influence with the natives.
